Founder’s Note

Founded by Stephanie Vermaas — entrepreneur, brand strategist, and Formula 1 fan — The Grand Prix Life bridges her two worlds: high fashion and high performance.

Before entering the F1 media space, Stephanie built a fashion brand that was named a “Brand to Watch” by Harper’s Bazaar and worn by global icons including Rihanna. Alongside running her own label, she founded a manufacturing company in Bali that has worked with over 1,500 emerging and established brands worldwide — helping them bring collections to life through sustainable production and design.

She has also mentored global fashion founders for over 15 years through her education platform, Start Your Fashion Business, guiding brands now stocked in Selfridges, Revolve, and Harrods.

That depth of experience in branding, manufacturing, and storytelling became the foundation for The Grand Prix Life — a media platform that decodes how Formula 1 and its partners shape global culture through design, influence, and experience.

Stephanie’s collaborations span global tourism boards, luxury hotels, and international events, reflecting her passion for storytelling at the intersection of speed, strategy, and style. Through The Grand Prix Life, she’s redefining what it means to be part of Formula 1 media — combining storytelling, business insight, and taste to celebrate the paddock and beyond.
